The bowl is sturdily potted with slightly flared rounded sides. The exterior is carved with four tiers of overlapping lotus petals, covered overall with a thin olive-green glaze, Japanese wood box.

Provenance: Property of a private collection in Western Japan, acquired around 1920s.
