deftly carved and hollowed in the form of a flattened baluster bao ping ('Treasure Vase') with rounded shoulders and a waisted neck, flanked by two grinning boys supporting the front and reverse of the vase with both hands, the well-fitted domed cover with an upturned finial, the stone of a yellowish-green tone mottled with faint russet patches, wood stand.
