the gently curved shaft carved in medium relief with eight cranes in flight, each clasping one of the bajixiang in its beak and all amidst dense ruyi cloud scrolls above foaming waves and rocks, terminating in a large ruyi head carved with a full face dragon chasing a flaming pearl and all reserved on a dense ruyi cloud ground, the stone of bottle green tone with darker green and black inclusions.
