With shallow rounded sides rising from a short foot, the interior boldly painted in varying tones of cobalt blue with the 'Three Friends of Winter', the exterior similarly decorated, all between double-line borders at the rim and around the foot, the base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue.
Provenance: Collection of Otmar Kurrus (1929-2012), acquired from Bernheimer, Munich, in ca. 1968, acquired by the present owner in 1998.
