with a compressed globular body rising from three short conical feet to a tall elegant waisted neck with garlic mouth, covered overall in a pale blue glaze, the base inscribed with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue.

 

Provenance: Acquired from Edward T. Chow (1910-80) in the late 1960s.
