This Art Deco tiara was created by Cartier in 1937; it combines round antique-cut diamonds with oval and other fancy-cut aquamarines, all set in platinum. Its design is distinctly geometric: a continuous band of stones forms the base, above which rise a sequence of slightly angled vertical motifs.
The tiara is on view as part of the exhibition ’Dynastic Jewels’ which is on display until 6 April 2026 at The Al Thani Collection at the Hôtel de la Marine, Paris.
