A two-section studio porcelain model of a pagoda - Showa Period, sealed Makuzu (Kozan), dated 1938
Its hollow upper section molded as the circular roof topped by a five ringed spire and jewel finial, fitted to the lower section formed as a stupa with Siddham mark in low relief to one side, covered with a blue-tinged transparent glaze, the recessed base with the impressed mark Makuzu surrounded by chatter marks; together with a wooden tomobako inscribed within the lid Okonomu Makuzu Kozan saku (By special request, made by Makuzu Kozan), with seal, dated Showa 13.3 (March 1938). 8 3/4in (22.2cm) high - Estimate: $1,000 - 1,500 - Unsold
