The first group of Delft comprising pair of platters each painted with a stylized chrysanthemum bloom, marked with axe for De Porceleyne Bijl, 10, diameter 12in (30.5cm) and a platter painted with chinoiserie garden of peony and pierced rockwork, unmarked, diameter 13 1/2in (34.5cm); the second group of Chinese export, comprising rectangular platter with cut corners painted with boat sailing among small islands with bridge and pagodas, unmarked, length 14 1/4in (36.5cm) and pair dished plates each chinoiserie decorated with a basket of flowers within compartmented border, unmarked diameter 8 7/8in (22.5cm) and another pair of similarly decorated plates, unmarked, diameter 8 7/8in (22.5cm).
