A FINE WHITE JADE TRIPOD CENSER AND COVER - QING DYNASTY (1644 - 1911)
Well carved from stone of exceptionally even white tone, the compressed globular body undecorated except for a pair of animal-mask loop handles detailed with scrolling manes, suspending loose rings, all raised on three cabriole legs emerging from animals heads, the domed cover surmounted by a Buddhistic lion carved in the round. 8¼ in. (21 cm.) across the handles, Japanese wood box - Price Realized: HK$1,807,500 ($232,631)
