An inlaid huanghuali brush pot, bitong - Qianlong/Jiaqing
Inlaid with mother-of-pearl, ivory, hardwood, agate and other hardstones, to form the design of two long-tailed birds perched on the branch of a blossoming prunus tree, growing from behind garden rocks with peonies and a wannianqing plant nearby, the wood of deep reddish-brown tone. 16cm (6¼in) high.
