Chinese bronze figure of Yamantaka. Xuande mark but probably 18th Century

The ferocious figure depicted standing in pratyalidhasana on a recumbent water buffalo over a lotus pedestal, embracing his consort, Vajravetali, and cast with the head of an ox, inscribed with six character Xuande reign mark to reverse, on a squared wooden base. 22cm high, with base 27cm high.
