A boxed Chinese lacquer framed fan. Late 19th/20th Century

Of octagonal form, decorated to one side with a finely painted scene of young ladies at leisure in a garden, the other applied in relief with the Eight Immortals in a domestic setting, bordered by floral designs, the black lacquer frame and handle detailed in gilt. 25.5cm wide, 41cm high (repaired).
