FLORENCE.- An artwork, titled Madonna of Humility, by Italian artist Masolino, from the collection of the Uffizi in Florence, Italy. The artwork will be displayed as part of an exhibition, entitled Il Primato dei Toscani nelle Vite del Vasari, at the Lower Basilica of San Francesco in Arezzo, Italy. From 3rd September 2011 to 9th January 2012 in the Sottochiesa della Basilica di S.Francesco there will be the exhibition “Svegliando l'animo di molti a belle imprese. Il Primato dei Toscani nelle “Vite” del Vasari”. This exposure reconstructs the path of art and architecture from Cimabue to Michelangelo, drawed through the protagonists of "Vite" of Vasari. Among others, Cimabue, Arnolfo, Giotto, Duccio, Masaccio, Paolo Uccello, Francesco di Giorgio Martini, Botticelli, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Rosso Fiorentino.
