the cylindrical body finely enamelled with a pair of birds in flight above large blossoming chrysanthemums and leafy stems, with a cricket, a praying mantis and a pair of butterflies in flight above, all above a band of lotus lappets at the foot, the shoulder enamelled with a wide band of shaped cartouches enclosing florets reserved on a diaper ground, with ruyihead, key fret, cloud scroll and upright lappet borders to the neck; 46.3cm., 18 1/4 in. Estimate 6,000-8,000 GBP. Lot Sold: 7,500 GBP
