VENLO.- Buddha statue is seen at the Indonesian area during a preview for the media at Floriade, the once-in-a-decade world horticultural exposition in Venlo, southern Netherlands. In all 1.8 million bulbs have been planted across the expositions 44-hectare (108-acre) grounds. Thats complimenting 190,000 perennial flowering plants, 18,000 shrubs, 15,000 hedge plants and 3,000 trees. More than 100 participants, often countries or regions, are setting up displays showing off some of their best-known foliage.
