An Archaistic Rhinoceros Horn Libation Cup, Ming Dynasty, 16th-17th Century - Sotheby's
of octagonal section, carved around the sides with a band of taotie reserved on a leiwen ground, the openwork handle formed by two chilong clambering up to the rim, the mouth and foot incised with key-fret bands, the horn a caramel-brown color. Length 4 1/2 in., 11.3 cm. Estimation: 80,000 - 120,000 USD
