This room-sized sculpture of generous proportions depicts a large goldfish carved from bright blue aquamarine from the unusual locality of Angola, the cabochon ruby eyes originate from Longido. Mounted with gold vermeil. Raised on a hexagonal base of polished rock crystal, the inclusions in which heighten the effect of the underwater scene. Measures 14 x 12 x 9 1/2 in Estimate US$ 15,000 - 20,000 (€11,000 - 15,000)
