'We are metalsmiths. We apply traditional smithing techniques to base & precious metals to create seamless vessels. The techniques we use include raising, chasing, & repousse. These techniques are all aspects of the forging process & forging is the most basic way to define our method of creation. We use our hands to direct hammers onto the surface of metal & thereby alter the metal into something entirely new & different. There are no molds, dies, or forms used'. Nile G. & Michelle Fahmy
