the sturdily potted globular body rising to a short neck and wide, lipped rim, covered with a rich dark brown glaze, the shoulder with four milky-blue splashes, repeated on the neck, the glaze stopping unevenly short of the unglazed gray stoneware base. Height  4 7/8  in., 12.4 cm
