The body is painted on either side with a quadrilobed panel of a leaping stag, the two separated by large leafy flower sprays below a plain band on the narrow, sloping shoulder and classic scroll on the neck, all in brown on a white slip under a clear glaze. The slightly domed cover is centered by a flower sprig within an outer border of key scroll.
