TOKYO - This exhibition presents 54 Chinese lacquerware pieces from the Song, Yuan, and Ming dynasties, which have rarely been shown before. These are all precious and rare works. We hope that this exhibition will spark interest in Chinese lacquerware among many people. Chapter 2 will feature Japanese lacquerware and incense utensils from the museum's collection.
