Note: The reference 6239 was produced from 1961 to 1976, the first examples having the exotic dial, the so-called "Paul Newman". They were made in 18ct yellow gold, 14ct yellow gold, and stainless steel.
The current owner purchased this watch from Tourneau of New York in 1996.
