A jade and hardstone mounted hand mirror

Set in gilt bronze metal mounts displaying key fret bands, embossed bats and incised flowers to the handle, the mirror back mounted with a nephrite oval plaque carved in relief with bat and peach design, surrounded by mounted jadeite, rose quartz, and other hardstones, the handle back mounted with a well carved nephrite belt hook with a reticulated chilong confronting a dragon head terminus (wear to gilt). 8 1/4in (21cm) long - Sold for $1,900 plus Premium and tax
