En ivoire sculpté et écaille de tortue, chacun représenté par une femme chevauchant un animal emblématique de chaque continent:
L'Amérique représentée par une femme tenant un arc, sur un alligator, la mer en arrière plan, l'Europe par une femme portant une maquette d'église, sur un cheval, entourée d'attributs militaires et religieux, l'Afrique par une femme tenant une gerbe de blé, sur un lion, l'Asie par une femme tenant un encensoir, sur un chameau.
chaque bas-relief représenté sur une base en forme de rochers en ivoire sculpté, à fond d'écaille de tortue, dans un cadre en bois mouluré et partiellement doré; chacun portant au dos le nom de son continent inscrit à l'encre. Each with a female figure sitting on the back of an animal representing the respective continent: America on an alligator, holding a bow and with a seascape in the background Europe on a horse, holding a model of a church and surrounded by military and religious objects Africa on a lion and holding a wheat sheaf Asia on a camel and holding an incense burner; each scene with an integrally carved ivory rock-work base and on a foil-backed tortoiseshell ground with ivory border and in a parcel-gilt moulded wood frame, each inscribed in ink to the reverse with the name of the respective continent
