An ochre-ground green-glazed flattened pear-shaped vase, Kangxi
Of elegant slender form rising to the flared rectangular rim, moulded on both sides with a peach-shaped panel finely incised around the edges, with a pair of green-glazed elephant handles, the green running over the shoulders, supported on a rectangular foot, all covered except for the handles with a rich amber glaze pooling at the base to a darker honey tone, the base with green glaze. 25.7cm (10in) high. Sold for £3,600
