Set at the front with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing approximately 44.53 carats, joined to the neckchain designed as a fringe of brilliant-cut diamonds suspended from knife-edge surmounts, mounted in 18k white gold, 35.0 cm long, with french assay mark for gold, in red leather Cartier case. Estimate:  $2,329,252 – $3,623,281

Accompanied by report no. 38015 dated 30 august 2001 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the 44.53 carat sapphire is of Burma (Myanmar) origin, with no indications of thermal enhancement
