 the figure seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base, the principle hands in namaskaramudra, the secondary hands holding a flower and a bhodi bead, the serene face bearing a compassionate expression with eyes cast downwards, the hair neatly drawn up in a chignon under a five-pointed diadem surmounted by the head of Amitabha, the long pendulous ears suspending large earrings, wearing elaborate inlaid beaded jewellery, a patterned shawl, flowing dhoti and a billowing celestial scarf around his shoulders and arms falling to the base.
