standing four-square on an unglazed rectangular base, the green-glazed head with large eyes turned slightly to the left, the body glazed in a rich ochre with green and cream splashes to the left rear leg, the unglazed saddle with traces of red pigment and later decorated.
Provenance: An English Collection, acquired in the early 20th Century (by repute).

The dating of this lot is consistent with Oxford Authentication Thermoluminescence Test no. C107J67.
