Bronze chariot drawn by a bronze horse, Eastern Han dynasty (25-220),

Bronze chariot drawn by a bronze horse, Eastern Han dynasty (25-220), from the collection of Guizhou Provincial Museum.

It's a symbol of prestige and social status reserved for officials and aristocrats.

More than 200 individual components make up the set. The chariot includes a carriage, two wheels and an axle. The horse is crafted in 11 detachable segments, including the head, neck, body, tail and legs.

This impressive artifact is one of the largest bronze chariots ever discovered in China and is a first grade cultural relic housed at Guizhou Provincial Museum.
