A finely carved tri-colour jadeite seal
Of square section and tri-coloured material representing the rebus ‘fu lu shou’, or ‘good fortune, prosperity and longevity’, one side of vivid emerald green colour carved to depict a dragon with a curling body grasping a thunder pearl highlighted in celadon toned jade, on the other sides, carved and pierced clouds signifying blessings and harmony and a pair of fu dogs evoking unity and protection, one of which is carved in a rich honey colour symbolising the balance of yin and yang, to a black silk cord strung with jadeite beads, dimensions 60.2 x 45.7 x 45.3mm.
