The arching dolphin, with ebony and brilliant-cut diamond body, the articulated flippers and tail similarly set, holding a polished ring in its mouth, suspended from a diamond-set pendant loop and ropetwist necklace, diamonds approximately 5.40 carats, signed R.Boivin, maker's mark RB, French assay marks, pendant length 8.0cm., neck chain length 63.1cm. Sold for £9,800 plus Premium and tax
