The jar painted with four lozenge-shaped cartouches, each enclosing a fish swimming amongst weeds and flowers, against a trefoil ground, with a classic scroll at the shoulder, the neck with auspicious symbols, the cover painted with two further symbols against red swirls and scrolling vine (cover restored). 36.2cm (14¼in) high.
